Surrounded by her family, Alessia Isabella Loria passed away on August 22, 2024, following a tragic car accident that claimed her life far too soon.
Born on October 25, 2010, to Joanna and the late Saverio Loria, Alessia was the youngest of three children, perfectly completing their family alongside her siblings, Sophia and Giuseppe.
Known for her vibrant energy, Alessia lit up every room she entered, always the life of the party, making everyone around her laugh and excited for every celebration. Alessia was full of life and her vibrant energy was contagious. She was well-mannered, polite, caring, and loved her siblings tremendously and deeply cherished her friendships.
A talented ballet dancer, Alessia seemed to dance through life, often seen gracefully twirling rather than walking. She could be seen dancing and stretching daily in her living room. Alessia had been counting down the days to audition for a spot to perform in The Nutcracker this fall - a dream she worked so hard to achieve.
Alessia loved life and was thrilled for her recent family vacation to Disneyland, one of her favorite places. She was not only bright and full of energy but also intelligent, funny, and kind to everyone she met. A dedicated student, she was proud to have recently achieved Honor Roll for her Grade 8 year at St. Elizabeth Seton School, where she had attended since kindergarten.
Alessia will be dearly missed by her loving mother Joanna, her older siblings, Sophia and Giuseppe, her grandparents Tomasz and Anna Wejman, extended family and dear friends. Alessia now joins her beloved father Saverio in heaven.
The family would like to thank you for joining them in honoring Alessia’s bright and beautiful life.
Prayers will be held at Ascension Catholic Parish (1100 Berkshire Blvd NW) on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.
