Stella Helen Main

Stephania (Stella) Main (nee Kawalilak) passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the age of 96 years. Her loving spirit is carried on by her three daughters, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother Stan, and an extended family of relations and friends. There were many valuable lessons we received from Gram, among them: choose to believe the best of everyone, be polite - open the basement door when company is over and fart down stairs, that a birthday party should be even better than a wake, that you can get changed in front of an open living room window because no will look, share what you have with family and friends, playing bingo all day is just warming up for a night of bingo, find something to love and enjoy about each day, a vacation at your daughter's house should be spent making enough dumplings and taddy bread to tide them over, if nothing else always wear lipstick and earrings (that one is mostly for the ladies in the family), and that "family is what love is all about".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Main; brothers, Louis, Joseph, Bill, and Mike; sister Emma; and parents Eva and Steven. Stella is survived by her children, Victoria (Julius, deceased), Jacqueline (Ronald), Joyce (Dennis); grandchildren: Carla (Troy), Darlene (Rob), Chris (Janine), Connie, Adam (Christina), and Sandy; great-grandchildren: Carter, McKenna, Kadence, Damian, Madisyn, Austin, Brianna and Sienna.
