Sherron was the calm in the centre of the Watson trio; unflappable, always caring and the rock of the family. She is lovingly remembered by Frank and Susie who will always celebrate the unique life and adventures they had together.
A British foundation melded with a prairie upbringing to create an intelligent woman who was calm in demeanour, wicked in humour and practical in approach. Sherron believed a life well-lived was a combination of love and laughs with family and friends; sprinkled with memories of good reads, great food and travel, hot coffee, winning sports teams and (almost) well-behaved dogs.
She was a lifelong learner - curious and needing to know all facts and details. As such, Sherron was always abreast of pop culture, world events and the conveyer of random tidbits. A voracious reader, with little patience for typos or grammatical errors, a good book provided her with solace and substance. Movies and TV also brought her joy when her family was not demanding her time, which was often. From cuisine and history to entertainment and Buckingham Palace, her love of all things UK made her the staunch monarchist and royal-watcher she was.
Sherron loved animals of all kinds and over the years, was the best dog-mom to Sam, Buttons, Bows, Harley, Lola and Gypsy, who all thrived under her treat-based approach to "discipline".
Her dry wit, coupled with the ability to laugh at herself, and Susie, made for many special moments together. Sherron was a wonderful mother who always celebrated her daughter's successes, and yet knew exactly when a comforting egg salad sandwich was needed to console her baby.
A woman who thought an outfit was never finished unless it had "bling", Sherron was the one who truly, and quietly, sparkled.
In lieu of a service or flowers, please honour Sherron with a donation to the animal charity of your choice.
