Jessie Zeilstra

Jessie Zeilstra went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 10,2017 at the age of 94 years. Jessie was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 5, 1923. She married Chester Zeilstra on December 6, 1944. She moved to Denver, Colorado in September 1945, and lived there until 1969 when Chet was transferred to Calgary. Jessie loved the Lord and was always an active church member, willing to serve especially as a church organist and pianist. She leaves behind her four children; Ed (Ruth), Barb (Edwin), Bill (Nancy) and Jim (Alida). She will also be fondly remembered by her eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Jessie was predeceased by her loving husband Chet in October 1980. A private graveside service will be held at Queen's Park Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel United Reformed Church (730-101 Street SW) on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2:00pm.
