Gordon Geisler

It is with great sadness that we announce Gordon's passing on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the age of 67. He was born in Nelson, British Columbia, grew up in Robson, British Columbia, but has been residing in Calgary, Alberta for many years. Gordon was an avid outdoor sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. His true passion was driving his truck throughout the mountains. Gordon made friends quickly, and would be the first to help people out when needed. He had a way with all animals, and could make them trust him without much coaxing. He was always a cowboy at heart, and loved the rodeo and cowboy lifestyle. He will be sadly missed by his companion Joy and her family. He was predeceased by his sister, and is survived by three sisters, a brother, four nieces, four nephews, and three great nieces. Many thanks for all the outstanding care Gordon received from the Home Care Palliative team and the Carewest Sarcee Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 10:00am at the Holy Name Parish 2232 - 34 St. S.W. Calgary, AB
