Daniel Herbert Slawson

With profound sadness we announce that our Dad, Daniel Herbert Slawson, passed away suddenly, on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the age of 68 years. Dan will be deeply missed by his two sons, Dustin (Janelle) and Courtney; as well as his grandsons Kaden and Landen and many more family and friends. Dan was loved by all who knew him. A man with a wonderful sense of humour and ability to make others laugh, Dan spent his career working as an Optician. He was great with people and always knew how to make a person feel welcome and at ease. Dan was famous for his "Donald Duck" impression and was especially loved by children as he would always do the "duck voice" and make so many people laugh. Dan had a beautiful smile that warmed the heart and lit up the room. Dan, affectionately known by loved ones as Danny or Dano loved dogs. Especially his French bulldogs Jagger and Bono. These dogs were true companions to Dan and he loved them dearly. Dan is survived by his three sisters, Karen, Geri, and Sheila and is predeceased by his mom Marie, Dad Daniel, and sister Shirley.
