Zachary Laurence Cydnee Peter Charles Walsh

Zac was a dear son, brother, grandchild, co-worker, confidant and friend to more people than he truly ever knew. Zac would give his left arm to a complete stranger if that meant he could make their life a little better.  His infectious smile and laugh would light up a room the instant he entered. Zac lived and loved passionately: from cars and video games, to technology and the beautiful West Coast. No one will ever be able to say that he didn’t love experiencing life. He was always going from plan to plan, place to place and idea to idea with nothing but excitement and determination. Zac had a heart full of generosity, soul of light, and a spirit of ambition. He was too big for this world, and will be more than missed. Zac will be mourned, celebrated, remembered, and most of all, loved. Celebration of life will be held at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services (5502 2 Street SW) on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 1:00pm. This is an open event. To Zac, there were no “friends” and “family”, everyone was family, therefore everyone will be welcomed. There are also no expectations. Want to wear black? Go for it. Want to wear your steel toes and jeans? Great. This day is to celebrate and honour each individual relationship Zac had with you, and you can do that in any way that feels right for you. This also means you are not expected to come and attend the entire afternoon. Whether it’s 10 minutes or three hours, you be there for however long is best for you. During this time of grief and loss, we are all Zac’s family. Please do not hesitate to come and share with others who will miss him too. Secondly, we want to encourage you to bring copies of photos or write a note that expresses your memories with Zac. He often felt unloved and we want to flood his final resting place with proof to the contrary.
