William Tsang Obituary

William passed away peacefully at Tom Baker Cancer Centre, on Monday, May 20, 2019, after his courageous fight with Leukemia. He was born on February 3, 1940 in Hong Kong. After completing his education, part of which was spent in Sydney, Australia, William started his long career with IBM. It was there that he met the love of his life, Mary. They married in 1968 and moved to Calgary in 1992. He had been the most dedicated and protective husband to his wife. They celebrated their 50th anniversary last year, a testament to their love for each other. Family was everything to William. He was supportive and loving to his children. His grandchildren remember him as the most patient, funny and generous grandfather. William was also a gentle, caring, compassionate, and sometimes goofy friend to all who knew him. William will be forever missed by his wife Mary, his children Winnie (Greg) and Victor (Lily), his grandchildren Daxton, Jazlin and Edin, his brothers Peter and Trevor (Emily) and his sister Stella (Robert).
