Tina Shkuratoff

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Tina Shkuratoff. Our beloved mother passed away after a long hard-fought battle with cancer on Friday December 7th, 2018 at the age of 89. 

Tina was born and raised in Shell Lake, Saskatchewan and was a farm girl at heart. She went on to build a life here in Calgary with her husband Fred and her 4 children. Tina will be remembered for her kind smile, generous heart and brave soul. Her strength and grace will live on in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tina will be missed dearly by her two sons, Troy and Larry; her daughters-in-law, Sabrina Lalonde and Wendy Vinje; her son-in law, Joe Waldner; her grandchildren, Darrin, Theresa, Tareen, and Jason; as well as multiple great grandchildren and their families.

Tina was predeceased by her only daughter, Carol; her son Lloyd; and her husband, Frederick. In respect of Tina's wishes, there will be no funeral or service. A gathering and Celebration of her Life will take place with close friends and family on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1:30-3:30pm in the dining hall at Legacy Estates Somerset (5000 Somervale Court SW), for those who wish to offer their condolences.
