Sheila Mary McNally was born at the Holy Cross Hospital, in Calgary Alberta, September 30th, 1951 to Phyllis and Ray McNally. Her siblings are Scott, Janice, Phyllis, and foster brother David. Her Heart family is Neil Linton and his two children Ilysa and Noah. Nieces and nephews are Eric, Theresa, Jessica, Cameron, Marina, Richard, Mariah, Amiee and Cheyenne.
Sheila lived in Calgary, Peace River, Jakarta, Singapore and Trinidad. After returning from Trinidad in 1977, Calgary became her home. She was an expert seamstress, enjoyed knitting and doing ceramics. Sheila like to camp and explore the great outdoors, but not so much the -30 below. She loved to drive and often drove out to Bragg Creek and to her special spot “Forget Me Not Pond”. And loved a good A & W Burger!
Sheila had a big heart, a soft spot for children and was very generous with her family and friends. She also had a collection of cute stuffies on her bed. Sheila was a softie, always sending us all cute hand cut Valentines and heart felt birthday cards.
A celebration of Sheila's life will be held in Stanley Park in Calgary on Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 11:00am until 2:00pm.
