Richard Don "Dick" Scruggs

On March 9, 2019, Dick left his worn-out body behind and moved on to receive his new body and his heavenly reward from Jesus, his Lord.

He will be dearly missed by Marjorie, his wife and partner in ministry for the past 66 years; his son, Rick (Debbie); and his daughters, Karen (Ian) Moilliet, Rhonda (Wayne) MacLean, and Shelley Johnston. Dick is also survived by his brother, Joe (Darlene), and his sister-in-law, Lola. He was predeceased by his siblings, Gordon, Keith, and Ruth; his sister-in-law, Dorothy; and son-in-law, Gary Johnston.

Dick was a Pastor who loved the Lord and loved people. He served in churches across Western Canada, retiring here in Calgary at the age of 80. He loved and enjoyed the family he and Marj raised, which now includes fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, all who have special memories of time spent with Grandpa.

The family appreciates the care that Dick received the last couple of years while living in the Carewest Colonel Belcher.
