(Patrick) Shane Ness

On June 25, 2019 Shane passed away suddenly. He will be sadly missed and remembered by his mother Tricia Syz, step-dad Serge Syz, brother Joel Syz (Lora Malowany), brother Diego Syz, daughter Terri King and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and other family members. Shane was predeceased by his father Barry Ness.  Shane will be remembered for his quiet disposition and his indomitable spirit.  In 2009, an accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury changed his path forever. In spite of his challenges, he was a dedicated bike rider and worked out daily to maintain his balance and fitness.  As a young man he loved to skate and was an excellent hockey player. He loved nature and animals and spent as much time as possible fishing and camping.  There will be a memorial service put on by the group where he lived at Stepping Stone Manor (222-15 Ave SW Calgary, AB) at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.  Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Patrick’s family through www.evanjstrong.com.  Arrangements in care of EVAN J.
