Ozie Harrison

Ozie Harrison passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019 at the age of 91.  Ozie was born in East Selkirk. In 1954 he married Betty Zawadski and moved to Windsor.  In 1957, they moved to Calgary where he worked for Allstate, and then with London Life before retiring in June of 1990. His hobbies included woodworking, golfing, camping, and travelling to Arizona in the winter months.  Left to mourn are children Gary (Lynn) and Gail (Gene); grandchildren Luke, Tori and Andie; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Ozie was predeceased by Betty, his wife of sixty-four years in July of 2018.  Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St James Catholic Church (5504 20 St SW) on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Mike Storey presiding. Reception to follow in St. James’ Parish Hall.
