Following this, Norm and Lorraine returned to the Ashern area to take up a life of cattle farming and enjoying days with the family at their cottage at Lake Manitoba Narrows. The family has many cherished memories during this time playing lawn darts, shuffleboard, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.
