Nicola Fontana

Nicola “Nick” Fontana, born February 7, 1938 in Torino di Sangro, Italy, passed away in Calgary on April 26, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Nicola is survived by Teresa, his beloved wife of 50 years; children Tony (Gabriela) Fontana and Linda (Fabrizio) Franz; brother Dominico (Ida) Fontana of Calgary and four sisters and two brothers in Italy; sister-in-law Antonietta Caravaggio of Calgary; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church (1714 - 14 Ave NE) on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10:00 am. Graveside service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
