Michael Gerald Lynch

It is with great sadness the family of Michael Gerald Lynch announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the age of 57 years. With his wife by his side, Mike passed early in the morning after a short but heroic battle with CJD. Michael is survived by his loving wife Marlene; mother Joyce; daughter Alisha; brothers Terry (wife Lynda and children David, Jamie, James and Rachael) Danny, Steven (wife Marilyn, son Jason), and Martin (wife Andrea, daughter Tessa); lifelong friend Terry Krahn (wife Lynda); and numerous relatives and friends. Michael was born on June 10, 1960 in Fredericton NB, the third son of five boys (army brat).  He settled in Calgary in 1970 where his love for music developed at an early age gravitating to the guitar. Marlene, music and performing was his life. (mic drop). Celebration of Mike’s life (memories and music) will be held at the Kings Head Pub (15 – 9116 Macleod Trail South) on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm.
