Marlene E Vance (Moore) of Calgary Alberta, formally of Westchester, Nova Scotia passed away on October 1, 2019 in Calgary. Marlene was born in Pugwash, Nova Scotia on January 20, 1954 to parents Howard and Ellen Moore of Westchester. She was employed with ATB Financial for the past 23 years, retiring in February of this year. She enjoyed camping and sitting in the sun on her deck. She always marched to her own drum. She was unique in so many ways and always helped out any family member who happened upon her doorstep in Calgary.
Marlene is survived by husband Nick, son Robert, son Michael, daughter-in-law Sarah, as well as canines Rocky and Ginger who miss her dearly. She is also survived by stepsons Brad, Trevor; step grandson Grayson; twin sister Darlene (Harvie), sister Shirley (Gordon) and brothers Charles (Debbie) and Ross (Eleanor); best friend Cathy Lewis, along with many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by brothers Wayne, Tony and her parents Howard and Ellen.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Evan J. Strong, Calgary Alberta. A Celebration of Life will held at Westchester Fire Hall in Westchester, Nova Scotia on October 12, 2019 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with family committal following at Eagle Hill Cemetery.
