Margaret Roe

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Roe (née Brack) at the age of 96 yrs. Margaret leaves behind her 3 children, Diane (John) Gunn, Jerry (Shelley) Roe and Don (Bev) Roe, along with 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 sisters - Jean Hankins, Alice (Ken) Jaffary, and LaVerne (Vic) Kaupp. Margaret was the ultimate homemaker who welcomed everyone to her home. The coffee was on and a meal ready in no time. She was very active in her church and the communities where she lived, making many wonderful friends. Margaret was predeceased by her true love and soul mate Gerald; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Thanks to Dr Wong and staff of unit 72 at Rockyview General Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at Deer Park United Church, 77 Deerpointe Rd SE, on June 3 , 2017 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deer Park United Church Benevolent Fund.
