Margaret Poisson passed away peacefully in Calgary, Alberta on Friday, January 26, 2018, at the age of 84 years. Margaret was born in Condor, Alberta on January 23, 1934 to Clarence and Thordys (Bjornson) Rasmussen. Margaret leaves to mourn her daughter Corrine Pelletier, sons Roy (Linda) and Evan (Sonia), granddaughter Christie (Rob) Rodrigues, great-grandson Aiden, and niece Carol Gray. She is also survived by her brother Richard (Nellie) Rasmussen, as well as numerous other relatives throughout Alberta. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, her husband Gaston “Gus” Poisson, as well as her five siblings: Bjorn, Clifford, Claire, Jensina and Marjorie Ann. Margaret was many things to many people: daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and auntie. To many others she was an inspiration as an entrepreneur, a successful business woman, a teacher, and an exceptionally talented seamstress. Margaret lived in Consort, Alberta from 1959 to 2002, after which she moved to Calgary.
