Lionel Russell Lazechko

Lionel Lazechko died peacefully at Southwood Hospice on Thursday January 11, 2018 at the age of 87 years.  Lionel is survived by his children, David, Jane (Kim), Ann (Geoff) and Sarah (George); four grandchildren, Lucy (Jordan), Margaret, Peter and John; and one brother Wally, in Boise, Idaho.  Lionel was predeceased by his wife, Janet; daughter Susan Elizabeth; parents William and Doris; brothers Steve and Harry; and sisters Jean and Kay. Lionel will be greatly missed. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 – 24 Street SW) on Thursday January 18, 2018 at 11:00 am. Graveside service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Regina at a later date. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Lionel’s family through www.evanjstrong.com. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of your choice in Lionel`s name. Lionel’s family would like to thank everyone at Southwood Hospice who opened their hearts to Lionel and his children as they journeyed with him to his death.
