Leo Daniel Dick

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leo Daniel Dick on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Leo was born to Florence and Joe Dick in Cereal, AB and was the oldest of five children. He was a strong, thoughtful man; a true gentleman. Leo had a great love of the outdoors, whether puttering around his yard, or hunting and fishing with his friend Lawrence, sons, grandsons, and son-in-law. He was a fine craftsman and took pride in all he did. Leo was an avid Calgary Stampeder's fan; rarely would he miss a chance to cheer them on. Leo is survived by his wife Elly; his much-loved children, Terry (Chris), Joe (Stacia), and Jim; grandchildren: Dawn, Kylie, Shelley (Tom), Jeremy, Eric, Juliann, and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Haley and Michael; and siblings: Gordon (Anita), Ken (Ann Marie), and Colleen (Steve). Leo is predeceased by, his parents Florence and Joe; sister Lorna; and his wife of 50 years, Florence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223-34 Street SW) on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11:00 am. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (Beiseker, AB).
