Kimmie White passed away at Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Friday, March 2, 2018, at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his wife Louise of 17 years in Airdrie, Alberta; brother (Howard) and sister Sandra, both in North Carolina; stepdaughters Lea and Kim; and six step-grandchildren Rebecca, Marcel, Taylor, Luke, Rayden, and Lexi. Kimmie was born on March 2, 1958 in Reidsville, North Carolina. As a U.S. citizen, he spent time in the U.S. Navy. With a passion for flying, he became a pilot and went to AME school. He came to Canada in 2001 and became a Canadian Citizen on March 15, 2013. Kimmie continued to pursuit his passion for flying in Canada. His career in flying (in Canada) was Medivac in British Columbia, Yellowknife, and Cambridge Bay. He also flew for Airborne Nabors. His final years were spent as a corporate pilot with Pentastar Air Ltd. in Calgary. A Celebration of Life will be held at Pentastar Air Office and Hanger (1441 Aviation Park N.E.
