Kenneth George Eugene Proctor

Ken Proctor of Calgary, AB (formerly of Okotoks, AB) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the age of 78 years.  Dad was surrounded by the love of his life, Marg, and his family as he passed. Ken will be lovingly remembered by Marg, his wife of 53 years; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and James Mutzeneek and their daughters Katelyn and Nicole; daughter and son-in-law Tracey Proctor and John Dias; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Garry and Norvelle and their family, and Ron and Pat and their family as well as numerous extended family members and many dear friends. Ken was predeceased by his parents Rose and Duncan, and his brother Rick.  He is now surrounded by his many 4-legged friends! Family was everything to Dad.  He was born in Regina where he lived until he met his sweetheart, Margaret Gibb.  After marrying in 1964, they moved through 3 provinces during the first 3 years before finally settling in Calgary to raise their family.  Ken was an accountant and loved numbers. He was the controller at Arpi’s Industries for the better part of 40 years in his long career.  He was an extremely hard working, loyal and dedicated man in both his work life and family life. Dad loved to travel to Mexico and spent many years doing so with mom and family. He loved the sun, the sand and the sea. It was a tremendous honor to be with Dad as he passed away peacefully.  He was all about family and showed that through his life and even in death.  We will miss you and always love you.
