Karen Newman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Newman on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the age of 54 years.
Born in Prince George to Eugina Inyallie, Karen was a member of the McLeod Lake Indian Band. She built her life and raised her family with Dan Newman in Calgary. She spent her life serving others within her family and community through volunteer work and at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Her sense of humor, kindness, and compassion were a driving force behind her impact on anyone that had the good fortune of getting to know her.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters Clare, and Elizabeth Newman (Shane Sercombe), as well as her family both by blood and built.
