Jorge Gomes Obituary

Jorge Gomes passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the age of 98 years. He will be mourned by Sue, his beloved wife of almost 65 years, and his children, Jed, Jean, Patricia and Jessica. Born in Shanghai, China in 1920, Jorge lived in Hong Kong, Brunei, and Macau before moving to Canada in 1964. The family resided in Standard, Alberta and Jorge worked at the gas plant in Hussar. After his retirement the family moved to Calgary, where Jorge remained until his death. As Jorge requested, a private funeral service will be held. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Jorge’s family through www.evanjstrong.com.
