John Ross Obituary

John Ross passed away on 9 October 2019 at the age of 90 years. John Ross was born July 23,1929 in Regina Saskatchewan and came to Calgary in the early 1960’s with his wife Loretta to raise his family, son Jon and daughter Wanda. He was employed in the telecommunications industry and retired from Microtel in the mid 1980’s. An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of the Calgary Elks Golf Club and played until he was 86. He also enjoyed dancing and was able to enjoy that well until his 80s. John is survived by his son Jon and daughter Wanda Lauret; he is predeceased by his parents John and Mildred; his wife Loretta and infant daughter Angela.
