Jayeson Fox passed away peacefully at Rosedale Hospice on Friday, January 11, 2019, at the age of 67 years. Born and raised in Drumheller, Alberta, Jayeson left for Calgary at 17 years old in search of new opportunities. He drove for Calgary Transit, Cardinal Coach Lines, and Brewster Coach Lines while attending university part-time and eventually graduated from Athabasca University. Jayeson started his own business in 1991 with his wife, Dianne. He was a big man with a heart to match. Whether riding his prized Gold Wing motorcycle or working in his yard or garage, he always had time for conversation and a good joke and was generous with his time for others. He loved the mountains and camping and served tourists as a campground host. Jayeson was also active as a member of the Freemasons, St. Mark’s Lodge and Crescent Lodge #87, Calgary. Jayeson is survived by his loving wife Dianne, Kaia, family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive NW) on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 am. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Jayeson’s family through www.evanjstrong.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Rosedale Hospice (920 7A Street NW, Calgary, AB, T2M 3J3; 403-284-5195; https://www.hospicecalgary.ca/rosedale).
