Jay Dean Dane

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Jay.  He will be deeply missed by his father, Barry McLellan, stepmother Colleen Henry and forever friend, Leanne Jakab. Jay was predeceased by his mother, Catherine Peterson (nee Evans) and stepfather Tom Dane. He is survived by brother Brian McLellan (BC), brother Corey McLellan (Tanya), nieces Brooke and Jade McLellan, aunt Darlene Nielsen, and uncle J.W. (Bud) McLellan (Joan) (Regina) as well as numerous cousins. Jay was born in Nelson, BC.  He spent most of his life in Calgary.  For the last 20 years, he was an owner/operator in the trucking industry. He was really handy and could fix almost anything. When time allowed, he loved to travel, spending most winter vacations in Cancun, Mx.  A celebration of Jay’s life will be held at McKenzie Lake Beach Club on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
