Jack MacKay Obituary

Jack MacKay, of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the age of 80 years.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol and his children Wendy (Russ), Darryl, and Kim (Jamie).  Jack will also be dearly missed by his four grandchildren Josh, Abby, Jenna, and Paige.  He is also survived by his brother Wayne (Lorna) and his sister Karen (Rick) as well as his four nieces.  Jack was born in Calgary and worked a long career with Telus throughout the Alberta area, retiring from Telus in December 1992.  He volunteered for Telus for years and enjoyed belonging to the Chinook Wildfowl Carvers.  Jack carved wildfowl as a hobby and enjoyed the friendships he built during his time with both organizations.  As per Jack’s request, there will be no funeral service.  He will be sadly missed by all.
