Hilda Christine (Enequist) Bond

It is with deep sadness that the family of Hilda Bond share the news of her sudden passing on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the age of 68 years. Hilda was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in 1949 to Mabel & Henry Enequist, the youngest of 4 children, her siblings Harry, Helen and John. She was the very proud mother of three sons, Kevin, Steven, and Ron; grandmother of four grandchildren, Michaela, Brayden, Shae and Nicholas; along with several fur grandkids too! Hilda lived a full life, with a love of family, people, and pets.  She loved going to various events with the many friends she made at Carter Place, and over the years cheering on her grandchildren in their various activities like BMX racing and hockey, and if she couldn’t be there she was with them in spirit. She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Crystal) Wasyliw, Steven (Rhonda) Wasyliw, Ron (Tammy) Wasyliw; grandchildren, Michaela Wasyliw, Brayden Wasyliw, Shae Wasyliw, and Nicholas Wasyliw; brothers Harry (Linda) Enequist and John (Margaret) Enequist; and sister Helen (Vernon) Halverson.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many close friends she considered her family, as well as her fur baby, Princess Naffertiti (better known as Naffy Cat to those who knew Hilda and her baby). She was predeceased by her parents Henry Enequist & Mabel Enequist. Celebration’s of life and memory will be held at Carter Place (602 - 1 Street SE) on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the building hall for residents to attend; at Evan J Strong Funeral Services (5502 - 2 Street SW) on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm for friends and family in Alberta; and at Gateway Covenant Church (1500-15th Street East, Prince Albert, SK) on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for friends and family in Saskatchewan. Internment to follow with a private family service at a later date.
