Helmut Scheps

Helmut Scheps passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the age of 66 years.

He will be greatly missed by the love of his life, Shary, with whom he shared the last 32 years with and by his children, Jennifer Scheps, Rick (Jackie) Koester, Shanna (Andrew) Baird, Laura-Lee (Oliver) Addington, Stephanie (Kyle) Kruks and eleven wonderful grandchildren. Helmut is survived by his siblings, Ilse (John) Turner, Doris (Scott) Wilson, and Rainer (Liz) Scheps and many nieces and nephews.

Helmut was a welder by trade, working mostly in the oil field. He loved the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and he had an amazing knowledge of birds. He made a big impression on most people he met and thus had many, many friends. 

A Celebration of life will be held at Southview Community Hall (2020-33 Street SE) on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 12:00 - 3:00 pm.
