It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Fred on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 80 years.

Fred is survived by Heidi, his loving wife of 55 years; their daughter Michele (Jürgen); his wonderful grandchildren, Jayden and Lars; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Fred was born in Münster, Germany and together with his wife immigrated to Canada in 1964. They settled in Calgary where they built a life together.

Fred was also known to many as “Papa Heller”. He was a loving Husband, Papa, Opa, and friend to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
