Faye Catherine (Jacobson) Hogan

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Faye Catherine Hogan (nee Jacobson), who passed peacefully on July 11th, 2018, with her family by her side. Faye was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on March 10th, 1935 and was the daughter of Clark & Pat Jacobson. She is survived by Shel McDonald, her husband of 40 years; her children, Clark (Tammie), Kelly (Cam), Jodi (Paul), Tammy (Kevin), Sasha (Dany); and her grandchildren, Kris (Dana), Katie (Garrett), Jake, Lacey, Susie, Jalayna, Layne, Sam, Joel, Nelson, and Darby; as well as her great grandchildren, Halley, Lexi, Quinn, Issie and Sydnie. Faye is also survived by her two brothers, Perry (Elaine) and Joe (Kandy); along with her nieces and nephews, Kim (Blair), Travis (Angela), Matt, Sarah (Kris); and many, many, friends whom she loved dearly.

Faye was an amazing, kind, wonderful woman that touched so many lives with her generous spirit. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and dear friend to all who knew her.

Faye’s family would like to extend a deep appreciation and a thank you to everyone who has supported them along the way. Your compassion and care made all the difference. A special thank you to Dr. Radinskaia and the awesome staff at the Southwood Hospice, Belinda, Gail, & Dr. Blahey at Tom Baker, Dr.Tay and his Staff at Foothills.
