Eric Luke Keefe

Eric Luke Keefe passed away peacefully December 6, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Eric was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on October 21, 1930. As a young man he headed west to Winnipeg, Manitoba and landed a job with Blue Cross. From there he went to Royalite where he began his career in the oil patch and then on to work for BA Oil, Gulf Canada retiring as head of Internal Audit at Petro Canada in Calgary, Alberta. Dad loved all sports and took great pride in his 3 sons and 2 grandsons sporting activities, attending as many events as possible. He was an avid golfer. He had a great love of gardening and would spend countless hours tending to his flowers. Dad will be greatly missed but his memory will forever live in our hearts. Eric is survived by his two sons Terry and Pat, his grandsons Tyler and Josh all of Calgary, sister Lorraine Boyd of Halifax, NS. Eric was predeceased by his beloved wife Noreen, his son Kevin, brothers Terry and Bruce and sister Patricia. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church (321 90 Ave SE), on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at 11:00 am. Graveside Service to follow at Rockyview Garden of Peace Cemetery.
