Eleanor Peden

Eleanor Peden (nee Walsh) passed peacefully away on Sunday, August 27, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 77. With her passing, so too passed a loving, gentle soul with a strong character and witty charm. Eleanor is survived by her husband of 55 years, Hugh Peden; her children Michael Peden (Carol), Danielle Gaudaur, David Peden, Roxanne Boutzis (Frank) and Nicole Nayoski (Jeremy); her grandchildren who meant the world to her, Katelyn, Ryan, Jake, Quinn and Cooper; her siblings Maureen Carter (Doug) and John Walsh (Terry); as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her beloved mother (Anne) and father (Michael Walsh), and brothers, Gerry, Michael, and David. Our family will hold a private funeral service at Evan J. Strong Funeral home. Although she did not pass away from cancer, she would have wanted any donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Association (http://www.cancer.ca), as she lost many loved ones from cancer.
