Donald Valentine Lomenda

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Lomenda announces his passing at the age of 81. Don will be forever missed by his wife of 60 years, Emily and his children; Darcy (predeceased), Sherry, and Colette (Steve). Don will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Madison, Jenna, Jacob, and Hannah. Don your heart and your love was bigger than life itself. You lifted everyone up and made everyone you met feel special. You will be forever loved and forever missed. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church (5504 20 Street SW) on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11:00am. Reception to follow in St. James’ Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Carewest Royal Park (403-943-0615). The family wishes to thank Carewest Royal Park for their kind, respectful and dignified care of Don.
