It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Hanlon on Sunday, August 6, 2018 at the age of 81 years, after an almost 2-year battle with bone cancer. Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his children, Dennis Jr., Robert, Laura (Dave) Tilston, and Brenda; his grandchildren, Laurisa, Luke, Forest, Anisa, and Aurora; his brothers Gerald (Mary) Hanlon, Leonard (Alice) Hanlon, Jack (Marg) Hanlon, and Don Hanlon; and his sisters Vera (Jim) Billy and Bev (Ken) Galbraith. He was preceded by his wife Donna. Dennis was a caring, hardworking man, and had a fondness for all animals. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dennis's life on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at St. Bernadette Church (7103 – 20A Street SE) from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Michener Centre (99 Michener Green, Red Deer, AB, T4P 1E8) or the Meow Foundation (Box 65024, RPO North Hill Calgary, AB, T2N 4T6; 403-230-6033; https://www.meowfoundation.com/).
