Darrin Thomas Amond, loving brother and son died unexpectedly at the age of 40 years old on July 29, 2019 in the city of Calgary, Alberta.
Darrin is survived by his sisters, Barbara Amond, Jewel Amond, Crystal Abraham, and Joanne Amond; his brother, Douglas Vandale: as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Darrin was predeceased by his mother, Sandra Patterson; his father, Joseph Amond, and his brother, Dennis Vandale.
Darrin was born in Windsor, Ontario on July 21, 1979 and travelled to numerous places of the country. Darrin worked in construction for a portion of his life and loved spending time with family and friends. Darrin was also a very talented artist and aspired to become a tattoo artist but unfortunately was not on this earth long enough to see his dream come true. Darrin is in the arms of the angels now and will finally be reunited with his mom in heaven to draw pictures for her there. Darrin was taken from this world too soon and will be sadly missed by his family.
A celebration of Darrin’s life will be held at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 1:00pm with a reception to follow. Friends and family are welcome.
