Darcy Kris Mathieson

DARCY KRIS MATHIESON - November 30, 1962 - March 31, 2017. Darcy passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of March 31, 2017 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Judith Mathieson and beloved father of Alexander and Christina Mathieson. He was our rock and will be forever missed. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Sharon Mathieson and his younger brother Drew Mathieson. Darcy was a talented contractor and renovator. His work reflected his immense pride in completing a job to his high standards. He was highly regarded as a man with integrity and he was considered a mentor to many. He was also extremely adept at repairing anything. We all knew if Darcy couldn't fix it, no one could. He discovered a passion for fly fishing and had many enjoyable outings during the last few years. He will be sadly missed by many. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a Celebration of Life to be held on April 29, 2017 between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. at his home here in Calgary.
