Cheryl Suchlandt of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Center on January 30, 2018, at the age of 59 years old. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Mark Suchlandt (Coral), Sherry-Lynn (Brian) Schwab, Sara Suchlandt and her 3 grandchildren, Sirenity Suchlandt, Ethan and Liam Schwab, as well as Linda (Roy) Ancelet of Calgary, Doreen (Elio) Tomei of Calgary, Laurie Martin (Dave) of Calgary, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cheryl is predeceased by her mother, Jean Hall, and brother, Doug Hall.
Cheryl was well known for being a fun trouble maker. Those who knew her always knew that when she showed her signature smirk that she was likely up to something. She was a prankster, known for water fights, chasing people in her wheelchair, or shoving icing in your face on your birthday. She was so well known and adored for her fun, and sassy attitude. When she spoke, she would talk forever. Cheryl loved to talk about her wonderful family, her three beloved cats, her lizard, and how much she loved being a mother and grandmother. She was always a proud grandmother and maintained a close relationship with her grand babies. She also had many “adopted” grandkids who she loved immensely and would always talk about. She was always happiest while spending time playing or chatting with children. Cheryl was always close to all three of her kids- Mark, Sherry, and Sara. Cheryl loved everyone and was loved by everyone who met her. She will be greatly missed by all those who’s hearts she touched.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, or, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of life will be held at future date with details to follow. There will be a Facebook event created regarding details. We wish to thank everyone for extending their support, and condolences.
