Catherine "Cay" Veronica Barry

Catherine (Cay) Barry left her place on earth on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the age of 92 years, to be with her loving husband Fran, her sister Marguerite, her brothers Paul, Fran and Joe, and her parents William and Eugenie, , all who were awaiting her arrival in heaven. Predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Francis Barry, in August 2013, Cay is survived by her four children, Judy Davidson of Victoria, Jeff Barry (Joni) of Calgary, Steve Barry (Debbie) of Calgary, Cathie Winter (Howard) of Foothills, along with her most precious granddaughter, Caitlyn Rose Winter.

Cay was born in Denver, Colorado and the family moved to Calgary when she was a young girl. Cay’s passions in life were her Roman Catholic faith, her early years as a school teacher, raising her four children, spending time with family and friends and helping to raise their granddaughter, Caitlyn, the love of her life! Cay was known to many as “Ammie” which is the name Caitlyn gave to her at an early age.
