Caleb Joseph Honish

Caleb Joseph Honish, beloved son of Liisa and Kyle Honish, passed away suddenly in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the age of 8 years.  He is survived by his siblings Patrick, Elizabeth and Andrew; as well as his grandparents Dale and Pirjo Lorenson; aunt DeAnna (Ian) Lorenson-Mayhood; uncles Michael (Julie) Lorenson and Adrian Honish; and his cousins Darynn and Izack Lorenson.  Caleb was pre-deceased by his brother Nicholas and grandparents Mary and Gerry Honish. Caleb attended St. Marguerite school and was active in youth bowling, Timbits soccer, Music for Young Children, Saint Albert the Great Conquest and enjoyed all athletic endeavours in addition to reading, Lego and video games.  His legacy will live on in the lives of five other children who received his heart, lungs, liver and kidneys through organ donation.  Because of Caleb’s love of reading, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the library at St. Marguerite School via the Calgary Catholic School District (1000 5 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 4T9; 403-500-2000; https://www.cssd.ab.ca/Pages/default.aspx).
