Brian John Milton

Brian passed away very suddenly in his lifelong home on November 9, 2019 at the age of 61 years.

Brian was born in Calgary, AB to Jack and Joyce Milton and Calgary was where he resided for the entirety of his life. He was a well-loved father, son, nephew, uncle, partner, and friend. Along with dedicating his life to raising his two children, Jason and Courtney, Brian was passionate about his work with Greyhound for 33 years as a mechanic before retiring in 2018. Brian brightened the lives of others with his generosity, bubbly sense of humour, his willingness to drop everything to help a loved one, and his dedication to maintaining his moustache. He had such passion for gardening and is well-known for his meticulously green lawn.

Brian is survived by his children, Courtney and Jason; his sister, Beverly (Ron); his partner, Vicki; as well as several close aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Jack and his mother, Joyce. A Celebration of Life will be held at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services (5502 2 Street SW) on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. A private family graveside service will take place at Queen’s Park Cemetery at a later date.
