Betty Frances (Zawadski) Harrison

Betty Harrison (nee Zawadski) passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the age of 86 years.  Betty was born in Ladywood, Manitoba. With her parents, she moved to Garson, Manitoba where she grew up and enjoyed her young years. In 1954 she married Ozie Harrison and they moved to Windsor, Ontario. In 1957 they settled in Calgary where Betty worked for Sears until her retirement in 1990. She had many hobbies including needlework, camping, gardening and playing golf. She enjoyed many trips to Scottsdale, Arizona during the winter months and camping during the summer with family and friends. Left to mourn her passing are Betty’s husband Ozie; her children Gary (Lynn) and Gail (Eugene); grandchildren Luke, Tori and Andie; as well as her sisters, Kay Schlamp, Steffie Rusaik, Lorna Dalinghaus, Audrey Gouglaus, Bruce Boyko; and her nieces and nephews. 

The family wish to thank all the staff at the Father Lacombe Care Centre who cared for Betty with great service and compassion.
