Audrey Elizabeth Martin

Audrey Elizabeth Martin, age 81, passed away in Calgary on May 28, 2018. Audrey was born on July 25,1936 in Montreal PQ, and was the first born of five children. Audrey met the love of her life, Ernie, at Salvation Army Bible College in Toronto. They were married in Toronto in 1962 and headed west to Maple Creek Saskatchewan to lead the Salvation Army Church and start a family. She was a woman who was not only dear and deeply loved, but one that gave great compassion, understanding, and sought peace at all times. Audrey is survived by Ernie, her loving husband of fifty-six years and is lovingly remembered by sons Bramwell (Andrea), Brian (Heather), daughter Beth (David) and sister Arlene and brother Bob (Delores). A memorial gathering will be held at The Salvation Army Foothills Church, (117 2 Ave SE, High River, AB T1V 1G4) on Saturday June 9 at 2:00 p.m. In leu of flowers, donations in Audrey’s name may be made directly to The Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation (donorinfo@heart@stroke.ca)
