Anne (Eresman) Nickel

Mom passed away at the Foothills hospital after a valiant fight with pneumonia and the flu.   

She was born in Fox Valley Saskatchewan. In her teens the family moved to Medicine Hat, she finally settled in Calgary where she met her life long love, Nick. She was passionate about her favorite sports teams, and never missed a hockey or football game. Her devotion to her children, grandchildren and  great grandson was evident in everything she did, we always knew how much she loved us. Feisty, stubborn, loving and simply the best Mom ever, we have lost the biggest part of our family.  

Anne is survived by her children;  Randy (Louise), Donna (John), Doug (Lynda), Charlene (Tony) and Darlene (Jeff), her very cherished Grandchildren;  Darren and Michelle and Great Grandson Maddox who brought her so much happiness. Sister;  Rose (Tony),  brothers; Walter (Barb), Ralph (Linda), Charlie and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved Nick in 2008, sisters; Carol and Angela, brother;  John. We love you Mom and we know you and Dad are in heaven together, dancing to the Walk Of Life.
