He then joined Jacobs and Rolfe, Chartered Accountants which later merged with Deloitte, where he retired as a partner in 1988. Andy was never idle, spending his free time and retirement pursuing his many hobbies including painting, stamp collecting, golf, flying (fixing mostly) model airplanes, playing the mandolin and violin, and travelling with Pat around the world. He always served in an executive capacity on boards of the clubs that he joined as well as with his church and his condo association. Andy was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as finance chair for 10 years and Grand Knight of the Paddy Nolan Council for 2 years. Andy owes his longevity to Dr. Glenn Gould whose gentle persuasion to exercise was heard if not always practiced. The family wishes to thank the staff at Dulcina Hospice for their kind, respectful and dignified care of Andy. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive NW) on Friday, October 4, 2019 11:00am.
