Ademo LoGullo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Ademo LoGullo on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Ademo was born on December 5, 1924 in Sartano, Cosenza, Italy.

He was predeceased by his wife Ida; his brothers Ernesto, Bruno, and Gennaro; and his sister Gina. Ademo is survived by his children Ernesto (Fernanda), Ralph (Theresa), Bruno and Ermelinda; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother Francesco (Amalia) and numerous relatives both here and in Italy. Ademo came to Canada in February of 1957 to make a better life for his family. He worked many jobs until he landed a job with the City of Calgary, from where he eventually retired. Ademo always provided for his family. Most people remembered him as Dimuzzo and his humour was second to none. He always enjoyed a good glass of wine, watching wrestling on tv, loved to play cards, and spending time with his family.

The family wish to thank the staff of Unit 37 at the Foothill’s Hospital as well as the staff of the 4th floor of the Bethany Care Center.
