August 4, 1924 - January 28, 2017

Norman Vincent Luterbach was loved in life and will be remembered in death. Norman died peacefully in his sleep Saturday morning, January 28, 2017. He was predeceased by his devoted wife of 69 years, Mavis Luterbach and survived by his seven children, Sharon, Brian, Loraine, Kevin, Kenneth, Michelle and Derrick, his eight grandchildren and his brother Allen Luterbach. The world has lost a faithful follower of God, a World War II RCAF veteran of the 39th squadron, the Luterbach patriarch, and a wonderful, loving, spiritual and witty man. Norman devoted his life to his faith, his family and to the field of education, in which he worked for 36 years, 22 of those with the Calgary Catholic School Board as a consulting psychologist with a focus on special education. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Luke's Catholic Church (corner Northmount Drive and Northland Drive NW) today, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church (corner Northmount Drive and Northland Drive NW) on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 11:00 am.
