It is with such heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear son and brother Jeff. In his early years Jeff played hockey, baseball, lacrosse and soccer. He then later fell more into a love of music and began guitar lessons. Jeff worked in the retail clothing industry after high school and was always the most put together young man with outfits that looked like a magazine model! Always somewhere between Hugo Boss and European hipster. He touched a lot of people in that world as well and made a ton of friends and connections over the years. The guy had the gift of the gab! Jeff was also known for his stylish hair! All that knew Jeff knew he would spend hours grooming those beautiful black hairs into place every day. That also inspired him to recently consider going to school to be a barber. Jeff was a very talented guitar player so inspired by music (what is Thrash Metal??). He loved to attend shows, write music and jam in his bedroom, especially with his friends. The iPod was never far from him whether he was drawing or writing or just getting ready to go to work. Always some tune his parents couldn't make the words out to! He later became extremely obsessed by tattoo art and would sit for hours checking it all out online. He didn't miss a convention until this weekend!! He said he felt so good when he was with his "people". Although Jeff had some struggles he always maintained his care and compassion to others and from the wonderful people coming forward would always lend a hand, give a ride or be an ear. We are so proud of who you were Jeff! You never gave yourself enough credit. Jeff is survived by his parents Candice and Dave; big brother Matt; grandparents and special bros: Zach, Garrett, Michael, Jordan, Mark, Chris and many others; and... of course the mutt that always loved him so unconditionally his rescue dog Teagan (not sure who rescued who). A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held at St. Albert the Great Parish (10 Prestwick Dr. SE) on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Anyone wishing to, please feel free to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Mental Health; website: (www.cmha.calgary.ab.ca) Thank you everyone for all the support during Jeff's journey and for reaching out, it warms our hearts hearing from you.
